Admission Process & Eligibility

MGM College of Nursing offers quality nursing education through a transparent and merit-based admission process in accordance with the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and State Health Authorities. Admissions are offered for ANM, GNM, Basic B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing programs to prepare skilled healthcare professionals.

Admission Process

Step 1: Obtain the admission form from the college admission office or download it from the official website.

Step 2: Fill the application form carefully with accurate personal, academic and contact details.

Step 3: Submit the completed application form along with required documents and the prescribed application fee.

Step 4: Admission will be granted based on merit, entrance examination or as per the guidelines of regulatory authorities.

Step 5: Selected candidates must complete document verification and fee payment within the given timeline to confirm admission.

Eligibility Criteria For Nursing

ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery) – 2 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Admission is based on merit and eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Nursing Council and State Health Authorities.

GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) – 3 Years

Annual Intake – 100 Students

Applicants must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board (Science stream preferred). Minimum qualifying marks and age criteria must be fulfilled according to Nursing Council norms.

Basic B.Sc Nursing – 4 Years

Annual Intake – 100 Students

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board with the required minimum marks. Applicants must also meet the age and medical fitness criteria prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing – 2 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Candidates must have completed GNM from a recognized institution and should be registered as a nurse with the State Nursing Council. Eligibility criteria will follow the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council.

M.Sc Nursing – 2 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Applicants must possess a B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree from a recognized university with required minimum marks. Candidates must also be registered nurses and meet postgraduate admission criteria set by the Nursing Council.

Eligibility Criteria For Paramedical Courses

BOT (Bachelor of Operation Theatre Technology) – 4 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board. Admission is based on merit and eligibility criteria as prescribed by the institution and BOHS guidelines.

BORIT (Bachelor of Radiology & Imaging Technology) – 4 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Applicants must have completed 10+2 with Science (PCB) from a recognized board. Candidates should meet the required minimum marks and eligibility criteria as per institutional norms.

BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology) – 4 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). Admission is based on merit and subject to eligibility guidelines set by the institution.

DOT (Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology) – 2 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Science (PCB) from a recognized board. Admission will be based on merit and eligibility criteria defined by the institution.

DORIT (Diploma in Radiology & Imaging Technology) – 2 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Science (PCB). Candidates should meet the minimum eligibility criteria and guidelines as per institutional norms.

DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) – 2 Years

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Science (PCB) from a recognized board. Admission is based on merit and eligibility guidelines of the institution.

CMD (Certified Medical Dresser) – 1 Year

Annual Intake – 60 Students

Candidates must have passed at least 10th standard from a recognized board. Admission is based on merit and basic eligibility criteria set by the institution.
